The Power Solutions group enables ADI to capture system-level power opportunities across Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Instrumentation, and Communications.
We are seeking a Principal Engineer, Segment Marketing – Power Solutions to define market strategy, shape roadmap priorities, and convert customer problems into qualified opportunities.
This P5 individual contributor role requires technical credibility, customer insight, commercial judgement, and cross-functional leadership to scale Power Solutions from product engagements to repeatable platforms and go-to-market models.
Develop a deep understanding of priority segments, including Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Instrumentation, and Communications.
Translate market sizing, customer pain points, architecture trends, competition, and technology shifts into investment recommendations.
Define power architecture strategies that connect customer needs to ADI products, platforms, reference designs, software, and support models.
Partner with systems engineering, applications, product lines, and technology teams to shape requirements, trade-offs, and differentiated concepts.

Typically 8+ years’ experience in technical-commercial roles across semiconductors, power electronics, or industrial systems.
Strong grounding in power management, conversion, architectures, mixed-signal systems, or industrial electronics.
Ability to turn market and customer insight into strategy, roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market execution.

Ability to influence global cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field required.
Advanced degree such as a Master’s, PhD, or MBA.
in Defence/Avionics, Medical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunications.
International travel may be required, typically 10–15%.
