About The Role
Analog Devices is seeking a Senior Principal Account Manager (Key Account Manager) to lead the account strategy and sales execution for a major automotive OEM headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area — a vertically integrated, software-defined vehicle innovator that designs its own silicon and E/E architecture, moves at a pace unlike traditional automotive, and is pioneering adjacent market innovation in energy storage, robotics, and AI compute.

You will define and lead the Americas strategy in conjunction with the Global Account Leader, drive customer understanding throughout ADI, and foster executive-level engagement between the two companies — establishing ADI as a strategic partner while growing profitable revenue.

Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
- Drive profitable revenue growth and market share expansion across the account's automotive and adjacent business lines, owning overall account performance
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Strategic Account Plan with long-range, multi-year revenue objectives aligned to ADI Business Unit and global account priorities
- Engage across the customer's full decision-making lifecycle — from early solution definition and E/E architecture influence through design win and commercialization — positioning ADI's differentiated, value-based solutions with a customer that designs its own silicon
- Develop and execute strategies to capture new and competitive business, assessing current and future SAM potential while protecting ADI and customer IP
- Synthesize the customer's organization and decision model, build an executive relationship map, and facilitate strategic engagement between ADI and customer senior leadership
- Translate customer strategies into actionable internal plans, aligning cross-functional stakeholders to address complex business opportunities
- Represent the voice of the customer to ADI executive Business Unit leadership, providing regular business updates, forecasts, and account insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical discipline; advanced degree (MBA) preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in sales, account management, product marketing, field applications, or related customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of results
- Experience selling into the automotive industry, ideally with automotive OEMs; exposure to adjacent markets such as energy storage, robotics, or AI infrastructure is a strong plus
- Proven expertise in the semiconductor sales process, including early-stage innovation engagement and design-in strategy
- Working knowledge of high-level power system architecture, electronic design, and embedded / application software
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge appropriately and create constructive tension to drive results
- Ability to synthesize complex information across external market, customer, and ADI perspectives, and to thrive in a fast-evolving technology environment
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and program management capability across matrixed organizations; able to lead and inspire an indirect team
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary, including overnight stays
