Role overview

Principal Engineer and AI Architect role focused on production-grade Generative AI applications and platforms.

The role owns technical vision across user-facing AI applications, backend platforms, frontend architecture, and AI infrastructure.

Experience and expertise

  • At least 11 years of total experience and 10 years of software engineering experience with strong Python expertise.
  • Experience architecting and delivering production-grade Generative AI applications at scale is required.
  • Deep knowledge of LLM integration patterns, RAG systems, AI-driven UX, system design, cloud platforms, and distributed systems is required.
  • Experience defining technical strategy and influencing architecture across teams or pods is required.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, privacy, governance, compliance, and responsible AI is required.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.

Architecture and solution design

  • Translate client use cases and technical requirements into durable technical designs.
  • Own architecture for AI-powered applications using Python, React, and Generative AI.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platforms for LLM inference, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration.
  • Define frontend architecture and UX patterns for conversational interfaces, copilots, and intelligent dashboards.
  • Identify alternative solutions and select technologies, patterns, and frameworks that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Engineering leadership

  • Lead complex GenAI workflows that combine models, tools, APIs, structured data, and user context.
  • Establish standards for prompt design, model integration, evaluation, and observability.
  • Build reusable GenAI components, SDKs, and frameworks for multiple teams or products.
  • Partner with product, design, data, and business leaders on scalable technical solutions.
  • Review designs and codebases, unblock teams, resolve root causes, and raise engineering standards.

Enterprise readiness and delivery

  • Lead technical discovery, solutioning, and client or executive-facing workshops for high-impact initiatives.
  • Ensure security, privacy, compliance, governance, and responsible AI practices are addressed.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot and Claude Code while maintaining production quality.
  • Create design documents, architecture guidelines, non-functional benchmarks, and proofs of concept.
