About the role
Join Enterprise Information Security to advance Wabtec’s cybersecurity program through intelligence, strategic partnerships, and analysis.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide protections for email, data, and endpoint platforms.
Serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor who shapes strategic security capabilities and reduces organizational risk.
Key responsibilities
- Own architecture, design, and control decisions for Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Purview.
- Analyze threat trends, security telemetry, and control performance to improve email, endpoint, and data protection strategies.
- Lead complex investigations and high-severity incidents using advanced hunting, deep technical analysis, and root-cause identification.
- Develop technical standards, reference architectures, and playbooks for engineering and operational partners.
- Collaborate across security, IT, identity, assurance, services, and business teams to embed protection into daily workflows.
- Provide knowledge sharing and mentorship to engineers and practitioners.
