- Lead the Freight Forwarding commercial desk and manage a high performing team
- Take full ownership of Air and Sea (FCL/LCL) pricing strategy
- Negotiate with vendors and agents to secure competitive rates
- Interpret global shipping trends, surcharges, and blank sailings to provide proactive advice to the Sales team
- Maintain composure and decisiveness in a high stress, fast paced environment
Requirements
- 8+ years of Freight Forwarding experience (Import/Export focus)
- Extensive experience specifically within Freight Forwarding, with deep understanding of Import/Export procedures for Air, Sea (LCL & FCL), and multimodal logistics
- Robust existing network of international agents and carrier contacts
- Proven track record of managing a pricing team and ability to maintain composure in a high stress, fast paced environment
- Exceptional ability to negotiate with vendors and agents to secure rates that win business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret global shipping trends, surcharges, and blank sailings to provide proactive advice to the Sales team

Role Overview
- We are looking for a Pricing Head to lead our Freight Forwarding commercial desk.

- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience specifically within Freight Forwarding, with a deep understanding of Import/Export procedures for Air, Sea (LCL & FCL), and multimodal logistics.
- Carrier & Agent Network: A robust, existing network of international agents and carrier contacts to leverage for immediate competitive advantage.
- Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing a pricing team and the ability to maintain composure and decisiveness in a high stress, fast paced environment.
- Advanced Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate with vendors and agents to secure rates that win business.
- Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional client follow ups and effective internal team coordination.
- Market Intelligence: Ability to interpret global shipping trends, surcharges, and blank sailings to provide proactive advice to the Sales team.
- 8+ years of Freight Forwarding experience (Import/Export focus).
