Job Purpose

  • Maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high customer service.
  • Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers and meet sales targets.
  • Provide service as per call frequencies and daily route plan.
  • Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks and maintain sales vehicle.
  • Supply ready to ship customer orders on time.
  • Maintain individual customer stock levels to minimize out of stock problems.
  • Implement agreed in store merchandising standards.
  • Advise supervisor of competitor activity.
  • Daily reconciliation of cheques, cash & credit sales.
  • Maintain neat grooming and high standard of driving.

Experience / Competencies Required

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree or Equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years’ Experience in Sales & Account building.
  • Communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Conflict Management.
  • Sales Planning.
  • Basic accounting skills.
