Qualifications

• Qualifications ranging from NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent in land-based service engineering, vehicle maintenance and repair, or mechanical engineering, with demonstratable skills and experience working within any mechanical background will be considered.
• Previous experience of working with off-highway machinery is not essential; but you will need foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge, an enthusiasm to learn and develop your skills, and awareness of good workshop practices including working in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.

• You must be self-motivated and adaptable.
• You must have effective problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of good workshop practices.
• Current working knowledge in a mechanical discipline.
