The Preloader & Relief Operator position is an hourly position that is responsible for operating Pneumatic Trucks around the plant site, dropping and hooking up trailers to the tractor, loading trailers with Quicklime and Hydrated Lime for immediate delivery as well as preloading trailers for future pickup.
This position is also responsible for operating the computer-controlled hydration system and related equipment and maintaining product quality by performing various lab testing when the Process Technician is not available.
• Operate a tractor/trailer.
• Load product into designated trailers.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Must be able to get on top of trailers during loading process.
• Operate a railcar mover, bobcat and forklift. Operate a trans loader to unload railcars into trailers.
• Provide paperwork to the office on loaded trailers.
• Communicate with the carriers and office to schedule loads.
• Work with production crews as needed. Performs/Assists with Process Technician duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
