MLDS Night Shift Yard Operator

The Night Shift Yard Operator at MLC is responsible for preparing and managing the loading of trailers for fleet drivers and other carriers, ensuring loads are secure, legally compliant, and clean.

Load required MLDS trailers for fleet drivers. Manage preparation and loading of trailers for other carriers using MLDS yard. Prepare loads for the road, ensuring legal weights, security of loads, as well as cleanliness of trailer

Perform DOT inspections of tractors and trailers for safe operation. Maintain proper paperwork with each loaded trailer. Perform minor maintenance work on trucks, trailers, or other MLDS equipment as capable and required

Drop and hook equipment daily

Perform normal deliveries as needed

Perform housekeeping and cleanup work area to maintain cleanliness of assigned and designated area. Perform and document housekeeping audits. Keep your areas clean and free of clutter

Acquire product samples for drivers as needed

Wash trailers and equipment when necessary or as assigned

Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
