Position Summary
The Pre-Sales Engineer provides technical expertise and engineering support to the sales organization, business partners, consultants, and end users.
The role connects technical solutions with customer requirements through project design, product selection, technical compliance, training, and site support.
The position supports Kidde Commercial and Edwards solutions across an assigned region.
Pre-Sales and Technical Solution Support
- Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities for fire and life safety systems.
- Perform value engineering assessments and optimize system designs.
- Prepare technical compliance statements and tender documentation.
- Evaluate project upgrade and migration strategies.
- Review high-level system architecture and solution designs.
- Support project engineering, design, presentations, technical clarifications, and customer engagements.
Consultant and Business Development
- Conduct consultant workshops for product approvals and brand acceptance.
- Deliver technical workshops and presentations to consulting firms.
