- Oversee start up of new physician practices and assist with credentialing activities.
- Coordinate, monitor, and improve operations of each practice, including flow management, documentation, training, staffing.
- Coordinate hiring process, complete performance evaluations, and handle employee counseling and termination.
- Participate in preparation of operating, salary, and capital budgets, maintaining compliance.
- Provide oversight and responsibility for practice revenue cycle management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a physician practice preferred
- Knowledge of medical technology and terminology
- Knowledge of front office tasks and systems
- Skilled in customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Supervisory experience in a hospital or medical practice setting
- Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) required

Job Description
- Manages offices in a cost effective, efficient manner assuring high quality care.
- Oversees start up of new physician practices and assists with credentialing.
- Coordinates, monitors, and improves operations of each practice.
- Coordinates hiring process, completes performance evaluations, involved in employee counseling, coaching, termination.
- Provides orientation for new employees and ensures compliance with policy.
- Maintains current job descriptions and completes performance evaluations.
- Participates in preparation of operating, salary, and capital budgets.
- Supervises, schedules, coordinates usage, and assigns duties to all employees.
- Reviews policies and procedures periodically for compliance.
- Assists in development and implementation of written policies and procedures.
- Proactively evaluates effectiveness of programs and processes.
- Provides oversight and is responsible for practice revenue cycle management.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of medical technology and terminology.
- Knowledge of front office tasks and systems.
- Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
- Skilled in customer service.
- Skilled in interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Skilled in organization and ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic planning and management.
- Some experience in finance and accounting skills.
- Knowledge of accounting systems, hospital and physician insurance billing and collecting.
- Knowledge of Physician Coding and billing, TJC requirements, local, state, and federal regulations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a physician practice preferred.
- Billing and coding experience in a physician practice preferred.
- Patient care experience in a physician practice preferred.
- Equivalent combination: Bachelors degree and no experience OR Associates degree and 2+ years OR High School and 4+ years.
Licenses And Certifications
- Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) required.
- Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM) preferred.
Pay Range
- $54,680.66 $101,717.57 per year.
