Job Description

  • Provides training to co workers as needed, appropriately and effectively.
  • Works on multiple projects as required and balances priorities by taking ownership and planning tasks related to the projects under the direction of the manager.
  • Communicates and presents effectively with management internally and externally.
  • Effectively documents work performed.
  • Maintains awareness of project status and anticipates potential roadblocks that may affect project completion, communicating issues with the manager.
  • Works effectively with numerical data and has a thorough understanding of financial principles.
  • Utilizes critical and analytical thinking skills, with general knowledge of software tools used in job functions.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

  • Meets deadlines for established goals in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Provides support and assistance in developing and communicating actionable information at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to compile and analyze financial information on trended data for financial decision making. [Required]
  • Ability to work in a project oriented environment with people of various backgrounds. [Required]
  • Computer skills including e mail, word processing, and spreadsheets. [Required]
  • Ability to work in a fast pace dynamic environment and meet deadlines. [Required]
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) [Required]
  • Complete understanding of double entry accounting and an operational understanding of routine accounting functions [Required]
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements [Required]
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) [Required]
  • Ability to handle a large number of tasks and projects at one time [Required]

Education

  • Bachelor's [Required]

Work Experience

  • 1+ experience in finance, accounting, or related field [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) [Preferred]
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) [Preferred]
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) [Preferred]

Pay Range

  • $49,718.59 $92,468.74
