Job Description Summary
- Responsible for global project control activity and promoting uniform functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation.
- Influences approaches, projects, and programs in the function or affected business organization.
- Role has moderate autonomy and requires high level of operational judgment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serves as technical leader/manager to determine scope and plan engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provides technical leadership and serves as interface to bid management, cost estimation, partners, customers, GE Vernova Product Engineering, procurement, and engineering subcontractors.
- Develops expertise in own discipline; serves as resource for best practices/quality.
- Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures implementation.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems.
- Serves as resource for peers with less experience; may lead small projects.
Basic Qualifications
- This role requires extensive experience. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
