Requirements
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Deep Learning and Neural Networks
- Experience with transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with Computer Vision and multimodal AI systems
- Good scientific writing and communication skills
- Publications in top AI related journals or conferences (preferred)
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs) (preferred)

Job Description
- The Computer and Network Engineering Department, College of IT, at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team focused on advanced AI research project focused on next generation intelligent systems using Deep Learning, Vision Langua
- The project involves designing scalable AI frameworks for visual understanding, reasoning, automated report generation, decision support, and adaptive learning from multimodal data.
- Selected candidates will work on cutting edge AI methodologies involving computer vision, multimodal transformers, generative AI, reinforcement learning, optimization algorithms, and explainable AI.

Minimum Qualification

Expected Skills
- Experience with Vision Transformers (ViTs), CLIP, BLIP, LLaVA, GPT based systems, or similar architectures
- Experience with parameter efficient fine tuning methods (LoRA, QLoRA, adapters, RLHF)
Salary Range
- 10000 11000 AED Per Month
