Job Description
- The Department of Biology at UAEU is seeking a full time Postdoctoral Fellow for a two year position.
- The project investigates hyper arid Soil Plant Microbial interactions loop using metabarcoding/metagenomics approaches.
- Goal is to assess impact of ongoing climate change on these tripartite interactions.
Minimum Qualification
- PhD in biology, ecology, microbiology, bioinformatics with relevant background
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in eDNA analyses, NGS library preparation and bioinformatic as well as statistical analyses (using R) of big genomic datasets (metabarcoding/metagenomics) is highly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to work well in a collaborative environment with skills in networking are highly advantageous.
