Job Description
- The Department of Biology at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking applications for a full time Postdoctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will be offered a two year position. The candidate will be involved in the project investigating hyper arid Soil Plant Microbial interactions
Minimum Qualification
- PhD in biology, ecology, microbiology, bioinformatics with relevant background
Preferred Qualification
- Candidate with experience in eDNA analyses, NGS library preparation and bioinformatic as well as statistical analyses (using R) of big genomic datasets (metabarcoding/metagenomics) is highly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and ability to work well in a collaborative environment with skills in networking are highly advantageous.
