About the Role
VAM Systems is hiring POS Device Technicians for Qatar operations. You will commission and configure POS cash registers and forecourt devices at petrol stations. Requires 1-2 years of IT retail automation experience, knowledge of forecourt devices, and a Qatar driving license.

Responsibilities
- Commission and configure POS cash registers in C Store and Petrol stations
- Handle site controllers
- Configure forecourt devices (DOMS Site Controller, Gilbarco Fuel Dispensers, Veeder Root ATG Consoles, etc.)
- Utilize RFID or related technologies
- Manage fleet management and card payment systems
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years in IT Retail Automation, with ATG or POS experience in similar organization
- Experience in handling site controllers
- Experience in commissioning and configuring state of the art POS cash registers in C Store and Petrol stations
- Experience in utilizing RFID or any related technologies
- Technical experience in Forecourt Devices configurations (e.g. DOMS Site Controller, Gilbarco Fuel Dispensers, Veeder Root ATG Consoles, Auto Carwash, OPT, etc.)
- Experience in fleet management and card payment systems (Prepaid, Smart card, etc.)
- Knowledge Industrial Electrical and Safety standards
- Knowledge in Serial communication protocols
- Knowledge on forecourt devices and types of dispensers and their configuration
- Knowledge of the applications and its hardware requirements
- Knowledge of petrol stations business operation standards and safety standards
- Qatar driving license is mandatory

Terms and conditions
- Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
