About the Role
RBC's Agentic AI Enablement team is looking for a Portfolio & Strategy Lead to own the intake prioritization, capacity planning, and portfolio reporting for agentic AI engagements.

Responsibilities
- Own the intake process for new engagement requests, jointly prioritizing with Business Enablement
- Maintain a transparent, prioritized pipeline balancing near term delivery with strategic bets
- Lead a team of Engagement Product Managers and a Portfolio Analyst
- Own capacity planning across engineering pod structure, maintaining real time visibility into available capacity
- Maintain portfolio level reporting for leadership on engagement status, pipeline health, capacity utilization, and value realization
- Translate enterprise AI strategy into portfolio level planning for the Enablement team
- Ensure structured handoffs at each lifecycle stage and own the Measure & Learn phase
Requirements
- 7+ years in technology strategy, portfolio management, program management, or delivery leadership roles
- 3+ years managing technology portfolios, intake processes, or capacity planning across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience making prioritization decisions with incomplete information and communicating trade offs to senior leaders
- Strong analytical capabilities to synthesize demand signals, capacity data, and strategic priorities
- Experience with resource planning and allocation in engineering or professional services organizations
- Proven ability to build and maintain executive level reporting and portfolio dashboards
- Experience in regulated industries (banking/financial services preferred)

- Portfolio & Strategy Lead owns the 'what' and 'when' of the engagement portfolio.
- Reports to Senior Director, Agentic AI Enablement.
Your responsibilities include:
- Intake & Prioritization: own intake process, maintain prioritized pipeline.
- EPM Team Leadership: ensure scope integrity and stakeholder alignment.
- Capacity Planning & Squad Formation: own capacity planning across engineering pods.
- Portfolio Reporting & Value Tracking: maintain portfolio level reporting.
- Strategic Planning & Alignment: translate enterprise AI strategy into portfolio planning.
- Engagement Lifecycle Governance: ensure structured handoffs and own Measure & Learn phase.
You're our ideal candidate if you have:
- 7+ years in technology strategy, portfolio management, program management, or delivery leadership.
- 3+ years managing technology portfolios, intake processes, or capacity planning.
- Experience making prioritization decisions with incomplete information.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience with resource planning in engineering or professional services.
- Proven ability to build executive level reporting.
- Experience in regulated industries (banking/financial services preferred).
Nice to Have
- Background in professional services, consulting, or managed services.
- Experience with AI/ML or agentic AI programs.
- Familiarity with pod based engineering organizations.
- Experience building portfolio management practices from scratch.
- PMP, PgMP, or portfolio management certifications.
- Background in demand forecasting or capacity modeling.
