Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and professional pilotage services for vessels entering, maneuvering within, and departing port limits
- Ensure compliance with applicable maritime regulations, port procedures, and international safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marine science with Second Officer Certificate, or Maritime Diploma with Chief Officer Certificate
- At least 7 years of marine pilotage experience in recognized international ports
- Demonstrated experience handling and piloting a wide range of vessel types and sizes
- Strong knowledge of IMO regulations, Flag State requirements, and port operational procedures
- Excellent ship handling and navigational skills
- Ability to assess risks and respond effectively to emergencies
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in modern marine navigation and communication systems
- Valid GMDSS Certificate
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Maximum age: 40 years

Position Overview
- Position Title: Port Pilot
- Purpose of the Role: To provide safe, efficient, and professional pilotage services for vessels entering, maneuvering within, and departing port limits, ensuring compliance with applicable maritime regulations, port procedures, and international safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marine science with Second Officer Certificate, or
- Maritime Diploma with Chief Officer Certificate.
Minimum Experience
- At least 7 years of marine pilotage experience in recognized international ports.
- Demonstrated experience handling and piloting a wide range of vessel types and sizes.
Required Competencies

- Pay: Up to QAR6,000.00 per month
