Role Overview
Clean and maintain swimming pools, pool surroundings, and general cleaning areas.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while following chemical-handling, PPE, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Pool Cleaning Duties
- Clean pool floors, walls, steps, and surrounding areas.
- Operate vacuum cleaners, brushes, nets, and other pool cleaning equipment.
- Check and maintain proper chlorine and pH levels.
- Handle pool and cleaning chemicals safely.
- Report pool equipment or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
General Cleaning Duties
- Clean pool decks, toilets, washrooms, floors, and carpets.
- Perform deep cleaning as required.
- Follow proper PPE and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous pool cleaning or general cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience using cleaning machines and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of safely handling and using cleaning and pool chemicals.
- Experience vacuuming floors and carpets and cleaning toilets and washrooms.
- Knowledge of deep cleaning procedures.
