Role Overview
Manage and optimize Cisco network infrastructure, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless controllers, and IP network infrastructure.
The role focuses on routing, switching, network security, load balancing, QoS, MPLS, and network monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco network infrastructure and L2/L3 switching.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP/OSPF routing.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, and security events.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points.
- Implement server load balancing, QoS, and MPLS/ISP connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, security, and availability and proactively resolve issues.
- Ensure network reliability, scalability, and security.
- Conduct performance assessments and optimization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to IT teams and users.
- Participate in on-call network support when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum four years of network and security management experience.
- Strong experience with Cisco network technologies and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Excellent knowledge of BGP/OSPF, L2/L3 switching, load balancing, QoS, and MPLS.
