Role Overview
Provide technical assistance and support to end users with hardware, software, network, and application issues.
Support users by phone, email, and in person while following procedures to document and track issues through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues, including repairing or replacing parts.
- Provide technical support for systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot POS systems, printers, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance by phone or email.
- Configure desktops and laptops for new users according to company best-practice guidelines.
- Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questioning.
- Track, route, and document problems, requests, and resolutions.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in IT or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or help desk operations.
- Experience in the theme park industry is an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, gaming systems, and related technologies.
