Business Services

  • Establish, implement and ensure compliance with procedures and processes for Project Services & Controls.
  • Proactively leads and directs the work of the IPMT Business Team.
  • Directs all project activities related to the preparation of the annual Business Plan and related budget.
  • Serve as the focal point for general project assessments, evaluation and performance including ADNOC Offshore reviews.
  • Maintain close liaison with project management team (Engineering, Construction, Quality, SHE&S).
  • Guide the development and implementation of project procedures and systems related to contracts, project controls, procurement, information management and financial reporting.
  • Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project services requirements and processes.
  • Lead the risk management process and ensure project issues/risk register is up to date.

EPC contractor

  • Ensure that the EPC contractor's activities are managed per Company's guidelines and contract requirements.
  • Ensure that the EPC contractor's organization is fully aware of and accepts the guidance offered by Company's project services professionals.

Cost, schedule, and controls

  • Finalize the cost and schedule estimate confidence package.
  • Provide pointed cost and schedule information to support decisions by the project team.
  • Provide advice on cost and schedule impact of changes, modifications or alternates.
  • Monitors and coordinates reporting of cost and schedule impact of changes.
  • Directs and monitors all financial reporting for the project including accrual reports, cash calls and reconciliation.
  • Directs the preparation of the Fixed Asset Registers for the project scope.

Contract and procurement

  • Directs the preparation of all related tender and procurement activities and manages tender evaluations through to award.
  • Provides support to the Project manager and the IPMT on Contract Administration issues.
  • Leads the implementation of the ExxonMobil Master Technical Agreement work order process.
  • Coordinates all ExxonMobil work request activities.
  • Secure other than EPC contracts required to support project execution and commissioning.

Organization and staffing

  • Directs the development of the IPMT organizational plan and related staffing.
  • Oversees and coordinates all IPMT administrative staff and office support activities.
  • Look for opportunities to mentor ADNOC Offshore staffs in business activities.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction planning processes, planning tools, project management techniques
  • Knowledge of CTR and progress measurement processes
  • Experience of working with multi national and multi cultural project teams is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
  • Worldwide experience with Contractors and Vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of modules and onshore facilities
