- Develop detailed schedules, plans, and workflows to guide project execution
- Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle
- Assess project milestones and performance against schedules and budgets
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align project objectives and maintain transparency
- Generate timely and accurate progress reports for stakeholders and management
- Assume sole responsibility for Project Planning and Scheduling / Project Controls of Engineering and construction Projects
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and report against them
- Develop a suitable Work Breakdown Structure covering project requirements
- Coordinate with client representatives, team members, contractors, subcontractors while developing project schedules
- Organize workshops to present and review project schedules with stakeholders
- Develop and agree with client progress measurement and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 17+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction planning processes, planning tools, project management techniques
- Knowledge of CTR and progress measurement processes
- Experience working with multi national and multi cultural project teams
- Previous experience in the Middle East

Key Objectives
- Developing detailed schedules, plans, and workflows to guide project execution.
- Monitoring budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assessing project milestones and performance against schedules and budgets.
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to align project objectives and maintain transparency.
- Generating timely and accurate progress reports for stakeholders and management.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Will assume sole responsibility for Project Planning and Scheduling / Project Controls of Engineering and construction Projects.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of and reporting against detailed project plans.
- To ensure that the overall project is delivered to meet client’s schedule requirements / priorities.
- To ensure that all work is performed without compromise to quality and in line with the company’s procedures.
- To maintain high standard of safety at all times.
- Develop a suitable Work Breakdown Structure covering the project requirements / scope of works.
- Develop, baseline, update, and maintain detailed project schedules for various phases of project execution.
- Coordinate with client representatives, team members, contractors, subcontractors while developing project schedules.
- Organize workshops to present and review project schedules with all the concerned stakeholders.
- Develop and agree with the client progress measurement and reporting requirements.
- Review schedules prepared by the Contractors / Subcontractors to confirm alignment with the overall master plan.
- Periodically update the schedule with progress attained during the period.
Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum of 17+ years’ relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction planning processes, planning tools, project management techniques
- Knowledge of CTR and progress measurement processes
- Experience of working with multi national and multi cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
