PMC HSE Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on health, safety, environmental legislation, company policies, and client requirements.
• Develop HSE assurance plans, conduct audits and inspections, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare safety and environmental plans, risk assessments, method statements, and reports.
• Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, seminars, and workforce consultation.
• Investigate loss events and provide HSE direction to site management, staff, and contractors.
• Manage client HSE relationships and support behavioural culture change programs.

Expected qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of HSE experience.
• Solid understanding of organizational change.
• Experience working exclusively at a site location.
• Ability to engage senior leadership and communicate clearly with varied audiences.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and collaboration skills.
• Resilience when working with challenging stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
