Who We Are

  • OliOli Doha is a multiple award winning contemporary children's museum.
  • OliOli means joy in Hawaiian and entails 6 interactive galleries with over 45 hands on exhibits.
  • The team comes from 20 countries.

What This Role Is All About

  • The Play Facilitator (Imaginator) is responsible for creating awesome experiences and memories for children.
  • Working within exhibit zones, you act as OliOli's brand ambassador, engaging with guests in an empathetic, thoughtful, and joyful manner.

Guest Experience and Service

  • Be an OliOli brand ambassador, ensuring a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Provide courteous guidance through the building, exhibits, and programs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with proactive engagement throughout the guest journey.
  • Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, camps, privatizations, and other events.
  • Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle overcrowding situations effectively.
  • Oversee exhibit spaces and their components smoothly.
  • Gather and communicate guest feedback.
  • Follow daily opening and closing protocols, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing program materials.

Exhibits Area

  • Possess a clear understanding of OliOli's philosophy and developmental, pedagogical, and other learning objectives.
  • Understand the learning opportunities each exhibit/gallery offers.
  • Keep up to date with exhibit and program initiatives.
  • Participate in training to enhance guest interactions in the OliOli style.
  • Work as a team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper condition of all areas and galleries.
  • Oversee the use and quality of consumables.

Safety

  • Maintain a 'safety first' mindset and ensure a safe environment for all guests, especially children, and the team.
  • Report any safety or performance issues with exhibit components or the building.
  • Follow OliOli policies and procedures during incidents or emergencies and attend necessary training.

What You'll Need to Bring

  • College degree preferred; early childhood development education is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in education, entertainment, hospitality, events, or retail preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm about working with children, adults, and large groups.
  • Capability of working in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Self motivation, collaborative mindset, and adaptability.
  • Positive, energetic, patient, empathetic, friendly, and kind nature.
  • Physical and emotional capacity to handle physical demands (e.g., long standing hours, loud noise).
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent English and Arabic skills.
