About the Role
OliOli Children's Museum is seeking a Café Server for Hoppi, a new play destination in Abu Dhabi. The role involves running the café, providing excellent customer service, managing stock, and ensuring health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Set and maintain highest standards of customer service in café
- Provide cover with other staff as required on a daily basis
- Take responsibility for the presentation of food and beverages offered for sale and completion of admin duties
- Monitor and control stocks and wastage, undertaking stock take at regular intervals
- Work with management team on other projects as required
- Ensure good timekeeping and performance by staff, and comply with security procedures
- Assist management team to maintain standards of hygiene and health and safety
- Operate the till and take receipt of payments
- Ensure all cash and credit card transactions are completed according to company directives
- Comply with all Health and Safety policy, measures and legislation
- Assist with customer enquiries and orders
- Welcome customers and ensure their orders are processed efficiently
Requirements
- Ability to work 6 days a week including weekends and public holidays
- Previous experience as a server within a customer focused environment
- Pleasant and confident customer service and communication skills
- A willingness to learn new systems
- High energy levels with cheerful disposition
- Willingness to understand and engage the public about the range of activities at Hoppi®
- Ability to be calm and positive when dealing with complaints or difficult situations
- An interest in working in a child friendly environment
- Willingness to undertake appropriate training such as first aid or food hygiene

Position
- Position: Café Server
- Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
WHO WE ARE
- OliOli® was our first pioneering project a children's museum that redefined play and learning.
- We are now bringing Hoppi® a new play destination for families coming soon to a new mall in Abu Dhabi.
- Hoppi® is designed especially for children aged 2–8, combining active physical play experiences with engaging, hands on exhibit zones.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUT
- The Café Server role in Hoppi® will be to work alongside the other members of the staff to successfully run the Café and ensure customers' expectations of food, beverages and customer service are met.
- This may include the aspects of café operation including equipment, facilities, health and safety, customer care, and administration.
Cafe Management and Coordination
- To set maintain, highest standards of customer service in café.
- To provide cover with the other staffs as required on a daily basis.
- To take responsibility for the presentation of food and beverages offered for sale and completion of admin duties.
- To be responsible for the monitoring and control of stocks and wastage, undertaking stock take at regular intervals with the assistance of management team.
- To work with the management team, on other projects as required.
- To ensure good timekeeping and performance by staff, and to comply at all times with security procedures.
- To assist the management team, to maintain the standards of hygiene and health and safety at all times and throughout all the catering options.
Financial Management
- To operate the till and take receipt of payments.
- Ensure all cash and credit card transactions are completed according to company directives.
Health & Safety
- To comply with all Health and Safety policy, measures and legislation.
- Follow all Health and Safety policy, measures and legislation.
- Ensure the safe operation of the café and use equipment in a safe manner.
- Maintain the security of café and equipment.
- Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements where required.
- Report all safety matters to the Manager.
Customer Service
- To assist with customer enquiries and orders.
- To welcome customers and ensure their orders are processed efficiently.
- To work within reason to minimize customer complaints and maximize customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE
- Ability to work 6 days a week including weekends and public holidays.
