Responsibilities
- Engage with visitors in an empathetic, thoughtful, and joyful manner
- Orient visitors to the building and inform them of exhibits and programs
- Wear mascot costume on special occasions
- Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities
- Lead themed birthday parties for kids
- Collect and communicate visitor feedback
- Perform daily opening/closing protocols including cleaning, restocking, and preparation
- Ensure the building and galleries are clean, tidy, and well maintained
- Provide a safe environment for visitors, especially children
- Assist visitors in case of incidents or emergencies
Requirements
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Advanced coursework or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred
- Experience working with young children (ages 1 10) in recreational settings is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment

Role Overview
- Play Facilitators (Imaginators) create awesome experiences and memories for children.
- They work within exhibit zones as brand ambassadors, engaging visitors empathetically.
Visitor Experience and Service
- Be an ambassador for the Hoppi brand; ensure every visitor's experience meets or exceeds expectations.
- Provide friendly, courteous communication and orient visitors to the building and exhibits.
- Contribute to a positive, team based, visitor first culture.
- Wear the mascot costume on special occasions.
- Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities.
- Lead themed birthday parties for kids and wear costumes matching themes.
- Collect and communicate visitor feedback and suggestions.
- Follow daily opening/closing protocols including cleaning, restocking, and preparation.
Exhibits Area / Education
- Understand Hoppi's philosophy and learning objectives.
- Participate in training programs to enhance visitor interaction.
- Lead field trips and interact with teachers and students age appropriately.
- Ensure the entire building is highly presentable (clean, tidy, organized).
Safety / Security
- Provide a safe environment for all visitors, especially children.
- Assist visitors in case of incidents or emergencies.
- Take ownership of facility safety and report repairs or changes needed.
- Attend training and be prepared for emergency procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Able to work weekends and public holidays.
- Advanced coursework or experience in customer service, family learning, or retail operations preferred.
- Experience working with young children (ages 1 10) in recreational settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with children, adults, and large groups.
- Proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in other languages (Arabic, Russian, Chinese) is a plus.
- Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Ability to work with diverse staff and visitors.
