Role Overview
Scitara is hiring a Platform Engineer for its Product Engineering team.
The DLX platform is a cloud-native, event-driven system of microservices that moves scientific data between instruments, laboratory applications, and enterprise systems.
The role spans backend connectivity, data processing, orchestration, React interfaces, and AI agents.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Mumbai or Pune and is onsite.
- The position reports to an Engineering Manager.
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience, with level based on end-to-end ownership rather than resume years.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience with working React experience.
- Experience with event-driven services, message queues, background processing, or distributed data flows beyond basic CRUD APIs.
- Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools and the judgment to validate their output.
- Experience delivering features from goals through planning, design, implementation, testing, and rollout.
- Strong fundamentals in design, testing, debugging, reading unfamiliar code, Git, and CI/CD.
