Role Overview
Oversee plantation operations from land preparation and planting through cultivation, harvesting, maintenance, workforce management, resource planning, and commercial delivery.
Combine agricultural and plantation-management expertise with operational leadership, financial discipline, technical knowledge, and sustainable land-management practices.
Plantation Operations
- Develop production strategies and plans, manage crop establishment and care, monitor yield and field conditions, and coordinate harvesting and post-harvest activities.
- Manage irrigation, water use, soil fertility, crop nutrition, pest and disease control, agricultural inputs, and crop-protection activities.
- Manage plantation roads, drainage, irrigation infrastructure, storage, workshops, machinery, vehicles, tools, and preventive maintenance.
- Lead employees, supervisors, seasonal workers, contractors, and service providers through workforce planning, schedules, training, and performance standards.
