Job Description

  • As a Planning & Schedule Engineer at WSP in Riyadh, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, scheduling, and execution of road, bridge, highway, and tunnel projects.
  • You will develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and optimize project timelines to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
  • Schedule Development: Prepare project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule.
  • Risk Management: Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Change Management: Assess impact of changes and implement adjustments.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Lessons Learned: Conduct post project reviews.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with schedules and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling roles on road, bridge, highway, and tunnel projects.
  • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
