- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines in collaboration with design, construction, and client teams
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimize performance and efficiency
- Forecast manpower, material, and financial requirements to align with project objectives
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Act as liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review progress, address issues, and update schedules
- Ensure project plans adhere to company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in architectural or construction setting
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or planning (e.g., PSP) is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project

Role Overview

- The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project coordination, resource allocation, and risk management while ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines in collaboration with the design, construction, and client teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Forecast manpower, material, and financial requirements to align with project objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to address resource constraints or adjustments.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Report on critical path analysis and potential delays to stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings to review progress, address issues, and update schedules.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in an architectural or construction setting.
