- Develop, maintain, and monitor the master project programme from design through construction and handover
- Prepare detailed baseline schedules, recovery programmes, and look ahead plans
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays and risks
- Conduct schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and recommend mitigation measures
- Coordinate planning activities with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Review and assess contractors' baseline programmes, revised schedules, and progress updates
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and contractual obligations
- Support claims analysis related to extensions of time (EOT), delays, and schedule impacts
- Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and reporting standards
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning advice to senior management
- Mentor junior planning engineers and promote best planning practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 12–15 years of planning experience, with at least 5 years in a Planning Manager role
- Extensive experience on hospitality, mixed use, or large scale building projects
- Previous PMC/Consultancy experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and earned value management
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Experience in reviewing contractors' programmes and managing project reporting
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is highly preferred
