- Act as main point of contact between demand side and supply side
- Manage demand forecasting process using Demantra
- Facilitate Demand Review meeting and monthly S&OP cycle
- Communicate detailed sales forecast to supply planning team
- Identify and manage abnormal demand
- Monitor actual sales against forecast and analyze MAPE
- Review product portfolio and stocks to recommend rationalization
- Monitor effectiveness of promotions and help design effective promotions
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in supply chain in reputed firms
- At least 2 years of experience in demand planning
- Graduate of Business Administration/Logistics & Trade/International Business and Trade
- Preferably MBA in supply chain
- Experience in FMCG companies preferred

Job Summary
- To direct the demand planning to ensure the maximum use of available stocks consistent with efficiency, safety and profitability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Demand planner is the main point of contact between the demand side and supply side.
- Understand all aspects of demand forecasting including markets that IFFCO operates within.
- Manage demand forecasting process and facilitate generation of detailed product mix forecasts.
- Utilize Demantra for preparing baseline forecasts and capturing lift data.
- Facilitate Demand Review meeting and prepare required documentation.
- Assist in facilitating monthly S&OP cycle including Demand Reviews, Pre S&OP and executive S&OP meeting.
- Communicate detailed sales forecast to supply planning team and resolve issues.
- Identify and manage abnormal demand.
- Review sales forecast against actual sales and provide recommendations.
- Monitor actual sales against forecast and analyze MAPE.
- Review product portfolio and stocks to recommend rationalization and highlight expiry risks.
- Monitor effectiveness of promotions and help design effective promotions.
Work experience requirement
- 3 5 years of experience in supply chain in reputed firms.
- Experience in FMCG companies preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in demand planning.
Qualification
- Graduate of Business Administration/ Logistics & Trade / International Business and Trade
- Preferably MBA in supply chain
