Responsibilities
- Develop and progress packaging solutions for New Product Development projects
- Identify cost saving opportunities for packaging material and implement across packaging portfolio
- Qualification of packaging material with coordination of production, Quality and warehouse team
- End to end project management for packaging development projects
- Define quality parameters of packaging material and prepare specifications
- Conduct trials for new packaging development, value engineering, machine modifications
- Find alternate sustainable packaging solutions
- Handle customer complaints related to packaging and provide solutions
- Lead artwork approval system in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Manage technical data records: project data, artworks, trial reports
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences for packaging of flour products
- Adhere to IFFCO HSE Policy
Requirements
- Post Graduation/Graduation in Packaging Technology (preferably from IIP or equivalent)
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing sector
- FMCG experience preferably in WMS environment
- Working knowledge of key packaging technology areas, development processes, packaging testing with decent knowledge of machinery interface
- Understanding of Flexible Packaging, Paper packaging; added advantage experience in food manufacturing industry
- Fluent in English speaking

Job Summary
- Develop and progress packaging solutions for New Product Development projects, ensuring packaging is fit for purpose (by completing testing and trials) as well as delivering solutions which delights consumer.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To support the launch of new products, following R&D plan and interacting in teams with Sales, Marketing, Production and Quality representatives.
- To identify cost saving opportunities for the packaging material and implement across the packaging portfolio.
- Qualification of packaging material with the coordination of production, Quality and warehouse team.
- End to end project management for packaging development projects.
- Define quality parameters of packaging material and prepare specifications accordingly.
- Conduct trials for the new packaging development, Value engineering, Machine Modifications for packaging material.
- Finding alternate sustainable packaging solutions to support sustainable ambition of IFFCO group.
- Handle customer complaints related to packaging and to provide solutions in coordination with production team, lab technician as support of Sales department.
- To Lead the artwork approval system in coordination with all internal stakeholders.
- To manage good technical data records project data, artworks, trial reports.
- Participation in exhibitions and conferences for the packaging of flour products and developing and understanding new developments in packaging & latest technology.
- Adherence to IFFCO HSE Policy.
Technical Competencies
- 6+ yrs. of relevant Packaging Development experience.
- Understanding of Flexible Packaging, Paper packaging. Added advantage experience in food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of different packaging material applications and its testing.
- Problem Solving & Result oriented
- Fluent in English speaking
- Bias for action and high sense of accountability and responsibility is must.
- Consumer centricity.
- Ability to provide internal trainings on packaging and testing of packaging.
Qualifications and Experience
