Role Overview
Plan, schedule, and monitor turbomachinery workshop and field-service activities.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and other resources while meeting committed project schedules.
The role is based in Dubai and offers a salary of 5 K AED per month.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of planning experience.
- Planning experience in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, oil and gas, or power generation is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Workshop and field-service planning experience is preferred.
- Understanding of rotating equipment is advantageous.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain master schedules for workshop and site projects.
- Develop detailed schedules and look-ahead plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Plan manpower, machines, tools, equipment, and other resources for workshop and field activities.
- Coordinate workflows covering inspection, machining, welding, NDT, heat treatment, coating, balancing, and assembly.
- Plan inspections, overhauls, shutdowns, breakdowns, and commissioning support for field service.
- Monitor progress, identify delays and resource conflicts, prepare recovery plans, and coordinate project priorities.
- Conduct planning meetings and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, resource plans, and management updates.
Compensation
- Salary is 5 K AED per month.
Location and Work Setting
- The role is located in Dubai.
- Field-service activities and workshop operations are central to the position.
