Role Overview
The Planning Engineer will manage project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination for interior fit-out projects.
The role focuses on high-end interior fit-out projects and requires strong Primavera P6 expertise.
Candidate Requirements
- At least seven years of planning and scheduling experience in the UAE is required.
- At least three years of interior fit-out planning and scheduling experience, including villa fit-out experience, is required.
- Primavera proficiency and strong understanding of BOQs and cost allocation are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with EOT preparation experience are required.
- Strong coordination and reporting skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Primavera project schedules aligned with BOQs, signed contracts, and project requirements.
- Coordinate sequencing, resource allocation, and cost tracking with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules weekly.
- Prepare stakeholder dashboards and reports.
- Prepare and submit EOT requests for project delays.
- Prepare draft schedules for upcoming projects during pre-contract planning.
