About the Role
Indogulf Contracting seeks a Planning Engineer to prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. You will monitor progress, perform CPM analysis, coordinate with teams, and prepare reports.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for construction projects
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project baselines, and construction execution schedules in line with contract requirements
- Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify potential delays and critical activities
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and recommend recovery plans to mitigate schedule slippages
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports, S curves, look ahead schedules, manpower histograms, and productivity reports
- Track engineering, procurement, material delivery, and construction activities to ensure alignment with the project schedule
- Analyze project performance using planned vs. actual progress and provide schedule forecasts to management
- Review subcontractor schedules, monitor their progress, and ensure compliance with project milestones
- Evaluate the time impact of variation orders, scope changes, and delays, and assist in preparing extension of time (EOT) claims
- Monitor resource utilization, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance
- Participate in progress review meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in construction planning and project scheduling
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and project reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, CPM scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with construction contracts, EOT claims, and project controls
- Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and problem solving skills
