Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Planning Engineer for infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role leads planning, scheduling, progress control, and time-related assessments to support programme delivery and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Review contractor baseline and updated programmes and support the Engineer's consent under contract conditions.
- Validate resource and schedule feasibility and maintain integrated master schedules across packages and interfaces.
- Analyze progress, delays, slippage, and critical events and recommend mitigation and recovery actions.
- Perform what-if and schedule impact analysis for changes, variations, and potential events.
- Prepare progress reports, monthly programme analyses, and milestone presentations.
- Support claims and extension-of-time assessments using time impact analysis, window analysis, and concurrent delay analysis where applicable.
- Lead or attend planning meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain trackers, logs, and contemporaneous records.
- Agree progress measurement systems and KPIs with contractors and consultants.
- Issue delay or slow-performance notices and support responses using programme data and contract provisions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
