Job Summary
The employer is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for a construction project controls team.
The role develops, maintains, and monitors project schedules from commencement to completion and supports project planning and control activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 in line with EPC scope, contract requirements, BOQ, site conditions, and construction methods.
- Prepare baseline schedules, narratives, assumptions, constraints, risk analysis, critical paths, cash flow projections, and resource histograms.
- Lead planners in establishing, updating, and controlling schedules aligned with project objectives and milestones.
- Analyze progress and schedule updates, identify variances, delays, and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage project reporting, KPIs, cash flow forecasts, earned value analysis, extension of time work, and claims preparation.
- Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, and reports for project and senior management.
- Provide planning and project control guidance to project managers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional development of planning team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum eight years of UAE experience in a construction company.
