Planning & Development Specialist, Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Education: baccalaureate degree in planning, urban design, environmental studies, public administration Experience: Requires four years of experience in planning and research related to land use, urban economics, human services, environmental issues, conservation; or other work directly related to City planning and development activities; including one year of lead project management experience. OR: An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position duties. Desired Qualifications: Two years Supervisor/Manager related experience Experience using data for policy decisions, service delivery, and continuous quality improvement.? Experience developing policies, services, and programs that serve vulnerable populations.? Enjoy leading and working in multi-disciplinary teams. Navigate a political and complex landscape (city, county, state) Ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty leading with humility Experience working in or with the aging network, programs for older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers .
