A confidential company in Dubai seeks a Planning Coordinator/Material Planner to analyze requisitions, maintain inventories, prepare production orders, and coordinate with departments to ensure timely material availability and production.

- Analyse requisitions and maintain inventories of materials and supplies
- Verify Sales Orders for accuracy and prepare Production Orders
- Check production orders Bill of Materials and update system
- Calculate Raw Material requirements and forward to Stores
- Follow up with Stores and Purchasing to ensure timely material ordering
- Revise production schedules due to changes
- Verify stock quantities and order shortages
- Generate new codes on Planning software for new designs
- Maintain and file Production Orders, Estimation Reports, Drawings

Responsibilities
- Analyse requisitions and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
- Verify Sales Orders for accuracy: description, codes, and related details to prepare Production Order.
- Prepare project / production order and send to the concerned department.
- Check production orders Bill of Materials (BOM’s) and update the system as per the order requirement.
- Calculate Raw Material requirements and forward the estimated amounts to the Stores.
- Follow up with the Stores and Purchasing Departments to ensure that required materials are ordered in a timely manner.
- Revise production schedules as required due to changes in customer requirements, material shortages, or other operational factors.
- Verify stock quantities of raw material required and order the shortage immediately.
- Generate new codes on the Planning software for new designs and or modifications.
- Maintaining / filing all Production Orders, Estimation Reports, Drawings, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
