Position Overview
The role is based in Chennai and requires at least 8 years of relevant project work experience.
The position requires a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with E3D.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop 2D and 3D designs.
- Prepare piping, equipment, and structural general arrangements and plot plans.
- Develop and review isometrics using general arrangements and P&IDs.
- Create 3D models for equipment, piping, structures, pipe supports, and instruments.
- Perform safety, code compliance, data consistency, and clash checks.
- Review vendor drawings and 3D models.
- Prepare layouts, design basis documents, and project technical documents.
- Document meetings, job progress, and construction completions.
- Incorporate project and customer feedback into design modifications.
- Deliver client drawings and documentation on time with efficient resource use.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant project work experience.
- Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- E3D software proficiency.
- Ability to prepare designs that meet safety requirements, codes, and standards.
