Role Summary

  • The Picker is responsible for consolidating the order from the put away area’s including picking the order from the shelf in selling area, check expiry date and scan all ordered Items. He/ She should pick according to the company standards and in a productive way. The picker is also responsible for

Role Profile

  • Pick the order by scanning item by items.
  • Perform quality control checks on all items.
  • Ensure that all picked goods / items conform to the expiry date policy.
  • Verify and confirm OOS with the section in charge.
  • Ensure feedback is provided to the pickers if wrong items are picked or the quality of the product is not as per the standard.
  • Ensure the put away area is organized and all unused trollies and crated are moved to the storage area.
  • Report any anomaly to the line manager i.e. wrong product image, wrong location, picking system issue, etc.).
  • Ensure all put away locations and crates have scan able barcodes.
  • Maintain the goods in the proper areas and keep them in good shape.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience, preferably in e‑commerce operations.
  • Retail online Business experience is a plus.
