Role overview
The Senior Design Engineer - MEP (PHE) designs plumbing and public health engineering systems to support water efficiency, sustainability, and hygiene compliance.
The role is part of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing sub-family and is designated Tier 1.
Key responsibilities
- Develop water supply, drainage, and stormwater system layouts.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and size tanks and pumps.
- Coordinate service routing with civil and architectural teams.
- Ensure compliance with IS codes and local regulations.
- Coordinate with PHE Lead, BIM, Civil, QA/QC, clients, consultants, and vendors.
Knowledge and experience
- B.E. or B.Tech. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Five to eight years of PHE design experience is required.
- Experience with HAP, TRACE, and AutoCAD or Revit is required.
- English and local-language proficiency are required for on-site coordination.
- Knowledge of PHE design, system integration, regulatory compliance, and coordination is required.
