Minimum Qualification
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities
- Interpret and evaluate radiographic testing results for welded joints, structural components, piping systems, and pressure-containing equipment.
- Interpret radiographic films and digital radiographs and identify welding discontinuities.
- Review RT results against project specifications, client requirements, acceptance criteria, and international standards.
- Prepare RT interpretation reports, records, and traceability documentation.
- Coordinate repair recommendations and re-inspection requirements with QA/QC, welding inspection, and production teams.
- Verify film quality, image sensitivity, density, and radiographic technique before interpretation.
- Monitor NDT procedures and quality control plans.
- Assist with client, third-party, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain RT records and support final quality dossiers and turnover documentation.
