About the Role
Sanofi seeks a Pharmacovigilance Specialist in Riyadh to ensure local PV activities comply with global and local regulations. The role involves monitoring safety data, managing ICSRs, supporting risk management, and maintaining inspection readiness.

Responsibilities
- Ensure local PV activities are performed in compliance with GPV policies and global, regional, and local PV regulations
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the local Pharmacovigilance System, ensuring inspection and audit readiness
- Continuously monitor incoming communications to ensure timely detection and appropriate management of incoming PV data (ICSRs and other safety related information), reporting them to Global PSPV entities and external stakeholders
- Support PV requirements for local activities including Patient Support Programs, Market Research, Managed Access Programs, and company sponsored digital media
- Ensure periodic reports are submitted on time, including PSRs and periodic reviews
- Follow the local business continuity plan and after hours emergency calls process
- Support Global Safety Officers (GSOs) in local safety surveillance activities, handling and escalating product safety alerts in a timely manner
- Support risk management activities and additional risk minimization measures in Saudi Arabia
- Complete assigned PV Liaison role trainings in a timely manner and maintain compliance with the internal Code of Ethics and Sanofi HSE standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related regulatory/medical field
- Strong understanding of local PV regulations, safety reporting requirements, and risk management frameworks
- Cross functional collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Quality, Regulatory, and medical teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time sensitive safety reporting obligations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination with Health Authorities and service providers
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; Arabic is highly preferred
- Self motivated with strong ethical judgment and a commitment to patient safety

- As Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance within our (PSPV) team, you'll ensure that local PV activities in Saudi Arabia are performed in full compliance with global PSPV policies, regional, and local PV regulations — safeguarding the safe and appropriate use of Sanofi products on the market.

Main responsibilities
- Ensure local PV activities are performed in compliance with GPV policies and global, regional, and local PV regulations to warrant safe and appropriate use of Sanofi products in Saudi Arabia.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the local Pharmacovigilance System, ensuring inspection and audit readiness.
- Continuously monitor incoming communications to ensure timely detection and appropriate management of incoming PV data (ICSRs and other safety related information), reporting them to Global PSPV entities and external stakeholders such as Health Authorities and partners.
- Support PV requirements for local activities including Patient Support Programs, Market Research, Managed Access Programs, and company sponsored digital media.
- Ensure periodic reports are submitted on time, including PSRs and periodic reviews.
- Follow the local business continuity plan and after hours emergency calls process, remaining fully aware of escalation protocols.
- Support Global Safety Officers (GSOs) in local safety surveillance activities, handling and escalating product safety alerts in a timely manner.

About you
