Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with MOH, SFDA, NHIC, NUPCO, local health clusters, procurement entities, and KSA institutional partners
- Represent Sanofi in key KSA government programs aligned with Vision 2030, including health transformation, localization, digital health, and vaccination strategies
- Monitor KSA policy developments and advise on strategic impact for all GBUs, translating policy risks and opportunities into actionable business recommendations
- Lead or support submissions, position papers, and consultations on pricing, regulation, localization, digital health, vaccination, and specialty care pathways
- Drive advocacy strategies aligned with national health priorities including screening, prevention, rare diseases, digital therapeutics, immunization, and chronic disease management
- Build partnerships with scientific societies, national councils, public health institutions, and local industry associations
- Provide policy intelligence, insights, and scenario planning to country cross functional leadership
- Support crisis management processes, external risk monitoring, and institutional communication while ensuring compliance with ethical governance standards
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Institutional Relations, or Regulatory/Market Access roles specifically within Saudi Arabia
- Strong understanding of Saudi health system structures including MOH clusters, SFDA, NUPCO, and Vision 2030 programs
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of building credible, long term relationships with senior government officials and institutional stakeholders in KSA
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with Medical, Access, Legal, Communications, and GBU teams

About The Job
- As Government Affairs & Regional Public Affairs Head – KSA within our Public Affairs team, you'll drive Sanofi's Government Affairs and Institutional Relations agenda across Saudi Arabia — building strong, credible, and long term relationships with government stakeholders, regulators, health authori
Main Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with MOH, SFDA, NHIC, NUPCO, local health clusters, procurement entities, and KSA institutional partners to support Sanofi's business objectives across all GBUs.
- Represent Sanofi in key KSA government programs aligned with Vision 2030, including health transformation, localization, digital health, and vaccination strategies.
- Monitor KSA policy developments and advise on strategic impact for all GBUs (Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines), translating policy risks and opportunities into actionable business recommendations.
- Lead or support submissions, position papers, and consultations on pricing, regulation, localization, digital health, vaccination, and specialty care pathways.
- Drive advocacy strategies aligned with national health priorities including screening, prevention, rare diseases, digital therapeutics, immunization, and chronic disease management.
- Build partnerships with scientific societies, national councils, public health institutions, and local industry associations to support health system capacity building and disease awareness initiatives.
- Provide policy intelligence, insights, and scenario planning to country cross functional leadership, serving as a key contributor to Country Council, Access Committee, and Cross GBU governance.
- Support crisis management processes, external risk monitoring, and institutional communication while ensuring full compliance with Sanofi external engagement and ethical governance standards.
About You
- 6–10 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Institutional Relations, or Regulatory/Market Access roles specifically within Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of Saudi health system structures including MOH clusters, SFDA, NUPCO, and Vision 2030 programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with Medical, Access, Legal, Communications, and GBU teams in complex organizational environments.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English — both languages are mandatory for this role.
- Experienced level competencies in Healthcare Policies, Strategic Insights, Government Advocacy, Trade Associations, Partnership Development, and Strategy Development.
- Strong Stakeholder Relationship Management and Policy Development capabilities, with excellent Communication skills and Business Acumen.
- Intermediate level skills in Foster Innovation and Crisis Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of building credible, long term relationships with senior government officials and institutional stakeholders in KSA.
