Overview
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products, and providing professional advice to patients.
The role requires a valid UAE Ministry of Health (MOH) license and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards within the UAE healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions to ensure legality, appropriateness, and safety
- Ensure compliance with UAE MOH regulations and pharmacy laws
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medications as per guidelines
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and place orders when necessary
- Keep accurate patient records and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Handle insurance claims and billing processes (if applicable)
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
