Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Pharmacist role based in Dubai.
- The Pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, provide counseling on proper use, dosage, side effects, and interactions, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Responsibilities include reviewing and validating prescriptions, checking for therapeutic duplications or contraindications, and maintaining accurate patient and inventory records.
- The role also involves managing stock levels, monitoring storage conditions, handling returns and expired products, and supporting insurance claim processing and documentation.
- The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare providers, support pharmacy team members, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and customer focused environment.
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license or eligibility to practice in the UAE, with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and counseling on prescription and over the counter medications.
- Experience with retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management, point of sale systems, and prescription processing.
- Familiarity with UAE health regulations, insurance processes, and documentation standards related to pharmacy practice.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain medical information clearly and support diverse patient needs.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in record keeping, and commitment to quality, safety, and ethical standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, collaborate in a team oriented environment, and manage workload in a fast paced retail setting.
- Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage; multilingual abilities are beneficial.
